SUTA SUTA

The Curl Snake (Suta Suta) is a inhabitant of the Northern Grasslands. It is so named after its intense curl like flicking motion that it does when threatened. Its venom has just been upgraded from not known to cause harm, to dangerously venemous (same classification as the brown and tiger snakes).

Wow...you got close! Looking at this one I wouldn't have figured it for a venomous snake. I was always under the impression that venomous snakes had an angular head as opposed to one the transitions smoothly to their body. I guess I will have to rethink that next time I'm around a snake...lol...I doubt I'd get very clowe either way.

Beautiful shots.

Well educated guess David. Yes these dudes were both photographed at Terrick Terrick National Park. I am luck enough to get involved in the monthly surveys for both of these critters and the Hooded scaley foot's in the summer.
