Two Heads Are Better Than One

A doubble headder Nodding Greenhead (Pterostylus nutans) is a rare find, so naturally i jumped at this photo opportunity.

Your macros are fabulous. Do you use a ring flash? You may have mentioned it but I don't recall.

Thanks for that Laurie.. No i dont use a ring flash.. i find the cirlular reflection that they leave in animals eyes distracting and annoying.. I use the Nikon R1C1 unit.. you can find it in a Google search (or alternatively try a Blackle.com search to save Co2 emmissions!)
