The Veiled Chameleon (Chamaeleo calyptratus), is a large species of chameleon found in the mountain regions of Yemen and Saudi Arabia. It is also sometimes referred to as the Yemen Chameleon. Wow! Such interesting patterns. While it's terrible that they get smuggled in I am glad this one is alive and well and there for you to photograph and share with us.
